Talha Rehman, B.A.

Graduate Student

Talha Rehman was born in Karachi, Pakistan and graduated from Berea College with a B.A. in physics and minors in chemistry and mathematics. Before joining Harvard for his graduate studies, he participated in the Bridge to the Ph.D. Program in STEM at Columbia University working with Laura Kaufman in the Department of Chemistry. He is currently a PhD student in the Harvard Applied Physics program and his work is focused on understanding how genetic variation influences cellular phenotypes related to cardio-metabolic disease development. He is applying a diverse set of computational analytical methods ranging from conventional statistics to cutting-edge machine learning to various data types, including multiomics, and image-based data.
